Dancing Astronaut – EDM, trap, techno, deep house, dubstep

This morning many of us were just starting our work week, but singer was belting her vocal pipes for a live Good Morning America performance of “Lean On” with Major Lazer and DJ Snake. The performance comes the morning after a two-day stint in New York for the sold-out Mad Decent Block Party on Coney Island.

As DJ Snake sits stage side, presumably playing the piano, Diplo stiffly strums the bass. Walshy Fire hits the decks with mixing and MC action while MØ commands attention with her energetic vocals and frenetic dance moves. Backup dancers entertain the crowd, and the trumpet, drum, and sax players crush the instrumentals.

Though this performance was advertised as “live,” it’s pretty apparent that some live elements showed more than others.
