Dancing Astronaut – EDM, trap, techno, deep house, dubstep

Jamie XX is on top right now. The London-based producer is riding the waves of In Color, his debut solo album, which may also be a serious contender for full-length release of the year. He’s also coming off a tour of the states, a performance at LA’s HARD Summer, and a brand new mix for Beats 1 Radio. To keep momentum high, Jamie’s latest feature comes as the farthest thing from a major festival booking. You can now watch a recording of Jamie’s Boiler Room slot from an intimate Brooklyn setting.

Jamie XX was joined during his set by Gyptian, while Young Thug also made an appearance to perform their hit “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times).” From a full fledged North American tour to a confined, modest Boiler Room performance, the producer behind The xx continues to carve out his own notable success, appearing everywhere from festival stages to tiny ballrooms, and making sure it is always a good time along the way.

Keep up with Jamie XX here.
