North American newcomer Fareoh has truly ended his drought of original material for 2015, following up on last month’s ‘Fight For You‘ with a brand new cut from his rapidly developing musical space. ‘Scream Your Names’ holds the hallmarks of an emotive commercial dance tune, polished vocal line and all, but manages to throw the experience off-guard with subtle yet impactful instrumental form.
Somewhere between the vivid guitar licks and dramatic builds, that safe blend of staggered beats and glitchy leads is given a sense of original identity otherwise lacking in the wider musical space. What we’re learning about Fareoh is that just when we think we have him pegged, the New York hopeful slips in with a subtle reminder that the next generation of blog darlings aren’t all out to repeat the last big sound play-for-play.
